I've made it a point to visit as many coffee shops as I can in the Triangle- no better place to hold a meeting or have a little pick-me-up! My list is always growing, but here are a few of my favorites thus far:
Maude's Garden and Coffee | North Raleigh | The cutest garden shop AND coffee spot! Lots of room to spread out and a super down to earth feel.
Deja Brew Coffee House | Midtown | Spacious outdoor seating, a DRIVE THRU and one of the best pumpkin chai lattes in the Triangle!
Thanks a Latte | Holly Springs | Knock out your caffeine fix and your gift shopping in one adorable place. Don't miss their awesome flavored lattes, the brown sugar cinnamon is my favorite!
Bittersweet | Arguably one of the best dessert spots in the area, complete with coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening! They have an awesome latte menu as well, and if you need something tasty you MUST try their cookie ice cream sandwich with popcorn.
The Mill | Fuquay Varina | One of the BEST places to work! They are super laptop and meeting friendly with tons of places to spread out and plug in. It's a beautiful setting in the heart of downtown, and you can stay right through wine and craft beer time in the evening! Your order here is the Milky Way latte!
Cocoa Cinnamon | Durham | Come for the delicious coffee, stay for the amazing environment! You'll get your fill of cute signs, local baked goods and fresh air seating. There are many locations, but my favorite is the one on Geer St.!
Pine State Coffee | East Raleigh | A new kid on the block, and SUCH a fun environment! Everyone is kind and welcoming, knowledgable and there is more cool decor than you can possibly take in. I order the Blueberry Tea here, but have heard their brew can't be beat!
Cup a Joe | Hillsborough St. , Raleigh | A Raleigh classic! You can't pass up their regular brew, but feel free to add a few fun splashes like marshmallow or pumpkin while you're there!
Sola Coffee Cafe | North Raleigh | Follow the giggling Instagrammers to the "I Believe in Raleigh" mural, grab a seat in the spacious indoor or outdoor area and place your order for the cutest little mini donuts. Coffee here is great too, of course ;). Bonus, you can rent their private room for a small gathering if you have the need! The wine, live music and eats are also of note here.
Yellow Dog Bread Company | Raleigh | If you squint hard at the meeting spots on Love it or List It, you'll spot this gem... and with great reason! Their seasonal lattes are the best (think tiny gingerbread men perched on the side of the cup), and their baked goods are to die for.
Lucette Grace | Raleigh | Two words: Dixie Cannonball. This adorable french inspired cafe features a great menu but even better baked goods. You'll want to make sure to grab yourself a legendary Dixie Cannonball, a cheese, sausage and chive biscuit filled with sausage gravy.
Fount Coffee + Kitchen | Morrisville | Such a great spot! Bright, white space to spread out and get stuff done, alongside a healthy fresh menu.
The Third Place Coffeehouse | Raleigh | Looking for the coziest neighborhood spot? Look no further! Don't leave without trying one of their seasonal lattes (may I suggest the Dirty Snowball?!) and snagging a cookie for the road.
A Place at the Table | Downtown Raleigh | One of the best classic cups of coffee I've had so far, delicious food and all for a great cause?! Can't beat that! They have a great space to meet with others in the community or get some solo work done.
The Wake Zone | Apex | Need to be transported to a tropical island while you sip your latte? WHO DOESN'T? This coffee spot is described as "cheery" on Google, and I couldn't think of a better description. It's also deceptively large so feel free to post up here for your meetings and work as well!
Morning Times | Downtown Raleigh | Another Raleigh classic, this offshoot of Raleigh Times can't be missed. They have an expansive drink menu and a fabulously trendy, beautiful upstairs to connect with others and knock out your to-do list.
So- what did I miss?! Share your favorites below and I'll be sure to check them of my list!
